Right now this work is taking part in the Yellow Holocaust Star Exhibit at Yigal Alon House, Safed, which started on 30-4-2008. Curator: Reli Wasser.
“Yellow Badge" contains the names of 1,692 Shoah victims sourced from the online Yad Vashem database. The silhouette of the boy was taken from the famous "Warsaw Ghetto Photograph".
Jennifer Gottschalk was born in South Africa and currently lives in Auckland, New Zealand. The idea for this work came from Zeev Barkan, who runs this blog.
